Corporate Videos – No BS, Action-Packed Bottom Line

    You’re a busy person. And I don’t feel like wasting your time.

    Here are some action points about corporate video, why companies are using corporate videos and some industry tricks that will dramatically increase the value of your production.

    First, the bottom Line.

    Corporate videos are one of the best strategies to inform, persuade, convince and motivate customers.

    Seriously, try and think of ANY other medium other than speaking with a client face to face. And even then, an improperly constructed message can easily turn people away.
    This is the one way to have a digital salesman that speaks perfectly every time. Stays up all night and speaks fluently and convincingly to your customers.

    Why aren’t you using corporate videos?

    Here’s the deal, 97% of fortune 1000 companies are. You think they just have the money to throw away or are they using a medium that reflects their professionalism. Showing that they’re up to speed with the latest technology, prepared to innovate to achieve a goal and able to communicate clearly to their target audience.

    Boom, there I said it.

    Okay so let’s back up, what is a corporate video?

    This is an audio and visual communication in formats ranging from web, HD, DVD, Broadcast etc. It can have a minimal crew and basic equipment. Larger scale corporate videos have similar or often higher budgets than broadcast television programs or commercials.

    Okay so why do you need one… other than just to show off how cool you are.

    This is an extremely cost effective communication method. It has the power to capture and engage your targeted audience in a way that can’t be matched in other forms of media.

    Okay, here is where I am the one that shows off with some cool tricks of the trade.

    Look your viewers are used to watching TV, seeing advertisements on the internet etc. Some reports say people see between 500 to 800 media messages per day (everything from the logos on products to broadcast advertisements) and some reports go as high as 5000. So we’re talking about an educated audience here.

    So why not give ‘em what they want.

    They want a professional production, something engaging and smooth moving that doesn’t leave them bored with the details and keeps them hungry for more. It leaves them engaged. Target the video to a specific audience. Capture their attention.

    Does your video give goosebumps? Does it make you laugh, make you feel nostalgic and will it anchor positive emotions in your customers?

    Yeah! That’s what I want. I want my video to do that!

    So what do I look for in a company?

    Don’t just hire someone that is going to pound out a video and then peace out (as those youngsters would say)

    Look for a production company that is experienced and innovative. Someone creative and professional but someone that is interested in developing a great relationship with their clients.

    Now that’s how you get a powerful high end product that makes a tremendous impact on your audience.
