Vehicle Refinishing in Style – RestorFX

The concept was simple… sell this product. We scripted a 12 step sales process,with Colter Ripley and marketing manager Kristy Lockhart. The shoot lasted three days in the RestorFX finishing shop, a 15,000 sq foot warehouse and various spots around Vancouver. Drew Taylor was selected from many applicants to represent RestorFX. The clients were ecstatic with the outcome.

Big Rock Beer Second Place Winner – Zombies

This was the best shoot! We had 10 zombies thrashing down the street, eating people, drewling blood, attacking neighbors. Three makeup artists worked long and hard to be able to make all these zombies.
And best of all, we won second place in a cross-Canada competition! We won 5,000 dollars and we were able to pay all of the people that came out that day.

River Manners – Fraser River Salmon Table

In 2009 there was a confrontation on the river between a sport fisherman and a native drift netter. Both were legally going about their business on the river. But when the fisherman was caught in the native man’s net, there was an altrication and a gun was drawn. Although the gun was just a BB gun, the native man was shot in the head.
This video was financed by the BC government to promote cooperation on the river. It was produced by Bear Studios, written by Colter Ripley and Shot with three cameras on the lower Fraser.

Here is a cool Connect Pro video we did with Future Shops Chris Wilkinson who is a great guy. We always have an awesome time on set even though sometimes the days are long. This was a multi day shoot with two units branching off to shoot separate activities.

Young Drivers is the main company providing driving training to people of all ages. They are affiliated with ICBC and do a really great job. This video was for their Facebook fanpage. Another sequence of videos was shot after this.

Downtown Real Estate Promo for Larry Rahn

Larry was just completing his website and needed a video to go with it. We shot this on a greenscreen at Bear Studios. There were some revisions but we arrived at this final product! He was going for a refined look.

This video was quickly shot in a couple hours after some rehersals. Thank god Ralph is such a great speaker. The lighting is fully natural and I only used practicals. Sandro and I went on to work on some other great projects for Red Hawk.
